The STL8110 series are micro-power cost-effective voltage detectors, with a built-in voltage reference and a voltage comparator for precise thresholds voltage detection. The function of these devices is to assert a reset signal if either the power of the system is just applied and raised up to a designated threshold value or the power supply drops below a designated reset threshold level. The comparator has a built-in hysteresis to prevent erratic reset operation in the presence of noise.
